“Solutions For a Better World”
Here at the Shaw Nature Reserve, Gray Summit, Missouri, we have found the Weed Wand herbicide applicators (made by TROSECORP / WEEDWANDMAGIC) to be the best tools to date that we have found to apply herbicide to cut honeysuckle stumps as well as other woody plants. The wands allow for accurate placement of the herbicide on cut stems as small as ¼ inch up to 4 – 5 inch diameter. Another advantage of the weed wand is that you can use it effectively without bending over. To use a spray bottle accurately you need to get the sprat tip very close to the cut stem which requires one to stoop over. Even at close range the spray bottle applicators use more herbicide and have less accuracy than a Weed Wand.
Shaw Nature Reserve depends on volunteers and NCCC AmeriCorps team members to assist in our efforts to control invasive plant species. Our volunteers have found Weed Wands to be an easier and safer way to apply herbicide to cut stumps (less leaking and dripping on the hands etc).
We use weed eaters equipped with brush blades to cut invasive shrubs up to 3 inches in diameter and small chainsaws for anything larger. We then apply herbicide with the wands to the freshly cut wood, concentrating on just the cambium area on larger stumps. We also believe that the wands save quite a bit of herbicide because the spring activated sponge tip accurately applies the chemical to the cut stump and not the ground.

The ease in using the weedwand has exceeded my wildest expectation. Not only did it kill only the weeds, but it made the chore of weeding much easier.
My wife and I are both amazed and pleased with your product. I showed it to my neighbors and they want one also. Thank you for such an amazing product.
